Methodology

concafe.joelin.cc is a directory of identifiable physical venues: maid and butler cafes, roleplay venues, collaboration cafes, birthday and cupsleeve event venues, and spaces offered for related events. Inclusion requires a public address, an official channel and official evidence of the relevant use. Permanent roleplay service is no longer required. The same venue can host events for different people or franchises; event themes and dates do not define the venue identity. A past event proves neither a current event nor current operation. Future event records can reference the same venue. Official websites, booking pages, event announcements and business profiles are verification sources; third-party lists are discovery leads. New venues carry sources and check dates. Missing coordinates are not guessed, and uncertain operation is labelled accordingly. We do not claim nationwide completeness and do not download or re-host people’s photos.

This site provides information only — no reviews, no recommendations, no rankings; venues are ordered by objective rules (city, then area, then opening date). A closure requires positive evidence (an official announcement or a permanent-closure flag on the Google Business Profile); closed venues keep their own page permanently, clearly marked as closed; the old-address page of a relocated venue is kept for 24 months, after which only a one-line entry remains in the Closure record. Disclosure: the site owner works in the photo-booth industry (Snapshot). This does not affect which venues are listed or how they are ordered.

Every venue page in the bar section carries an “18+” label (“19+” for venues in South Korea, following its Juvenile Protection Act) and an alcohol notice. This is this site’s labelling rule, not an age limit announced by the venue. Where a venue publishes its own age policy, it appears on that venue’s page with the official source; entry and drinking ages follow the venue’s rules and local law (in Japan, for example, the legal drinking age is 20). Venues in the cafe section may also serve alcohol. Venues whose official channels allow guests under 18 are not placed in the bar section.
